Hi,

Newbie here. I thought of upgrading my stock engine G13 of my Samurai in order to gain more power but I do not want to change my tcase because i just recently bought and installed crawlers on it.

What engine should i look and install without too much mods and re-use my current tcase?

Presumably you have a divorced transfer case which means you can put just about anything (within reason) in front of it, but, if you want to keep things simple, a Suzuki G16 from a Vitara will bolt up to the Samurai transmission with an adapter plate - the G16 from a Baleno can also be fitted, but it's a little more work.

Guessing OP may be American, in which case the Vitara was released as the Tracker over in USA. Just an FYI.

Actually - the Vitara was released as the Suzuki Sidekick - or the Geo Tracker, or the Asuna or Pontiac Sunrunner - and the Baleno was known as the Esteem.
