So I know a lot of you have issues with transfer case mount failing so I created a little rig to stress test a couple of the cheap replacement options.
The mounts tested were:

Stock 1l mount (I think that is what it is anyway)
This is the rig I made to test how far and how much stress the mounts will take. The large bolt stretches the mount until it fails, I used a torque wrench to measure the stress.
Results:
SuziStore mount:
Stretched from 28mm to 70mm (total stretch 42mm)
Broke at 16Nm of torque
Mazda mount:
stretched from 35mm to 54mm (total stretch 19mm)
broke at 10Nm of torque
Land Rover mount:
stretched from 37mm to 138mm (total stretch of 101mm)
broke at 25Nm of torque

Notes:
From my understanding the Land Rover mount needs trimming to fit, this would probably make them weaker.
The torque measurements don't really tell you that much apart from the relative strengths of the mounts.
A sample size of 1 isn't very good.
different suppliers probably sell different quality mounts.
I know my welding isn't very good.
I would like to test a stock mount, but i don't have any spares... would anybody like to donate one?
