I have a problem with my fuel/temp gauge as they are not reading correct and I have ran 12v to them. On the back of the cluster it has symbol 7v which would make sense why these gauges are reading so high. Does any one know where to find 7v or know where the single power source is for the cluster as it is one single wire. It is a Suzuki sierra sj 70 1994 hard top running a 1.3l. Any help would be much appreciated \.

Why are you running new power feeds to stock gauges? Im confused

i have just finished wiring up the car and was not sure on where the gauges where feed from as there was no wires with power and the only power that the gauges where feed from was one black wire.i maybe be missing something. ill show a pic in my profile as i am unable to attached one .As i said it may be missing something.

Are you trying to connect a loom you fabricated yourself into a stock cluster?

That's a incredibly complex job. You'll need a factory service manual - not only does it have a complete wiring diagram in it, it also has each circuit exploded and how to test function.

Also - do this so you can post images.

ok thanks ,on further investigation I found that the fuel gauge has a burnt out wire inside the fuel gauge. Which looks like a regulator. I believe that the fuel gauge gets power to one pin then regulates it to 7v through to another bin which then the temp gauge gets its 7v power from, which will then make the gauges read lower which I am after.
