Hey all has anyone had any experiences with lock right lockers from Superior Engineering or where else you can buy them
https://www.superiorengineering.com.au/ ... er=173,355

I am looking at them myself shortly my car is more of a weekend driver then a daily driver. My question is with the locker in the front will it act like a full time locked diff or will it let me turn some what. I am ideally wanting to get front and rear for the mighty zook. Any help would be great before i spend some $$$.

I know an air locker would be ideal but keep hearing horror stories from other non zuki drivers with their arb lockers.

The general consensus with auto lockers are that they suck. If it's a weekend warrior, your better off just putting a spool in the rear. For what our local terrain is, I don't think a front locker would put you at much more of an advantage.

There's plenty of auto locker "horror stories" too.

I'm not a fan. My own car is spool rear, airlocker front.

Steve and I just had this convo in a diffrent thread.

I have a lockrite in the front with power steering out of a vitara, it's not for everyone but I love mine. I have arb air locker in the rear, I don't really use it all that much. I have had dramas in the past with it. Also the arb air compressors lock up. When this one packs it in I'll be looking for a different brand.

And yes it's locked pretty well all the time. I also run chromo cvs and axles. Again in my experience it works really well and I love my setup. Others have had diffrent experiences.

I liked the auto lockers I had in my sierras. Had a vitara with a spool and hated it.

I've got air lockers front and rear and love them, never had a drama with either and will definitely save up the coin to put them in my tin top.
Even with power stearing I find it hard to turn with the front locked so I personally wouldn't run an autolocker in the front.
