You can't find the oil pressure switch, yet you can problem solve a turbo installation?

do a build thread if you super serial, people can chime, may chime, in with help when needed, be prepared for criticism.

How many spare motors do you have?

Sorry, a cheap shot, but I'm fascinated as to where all these carby turbo g13's end up. Every second post on FB seems to be about a hektik turbo conversion but in all the years I've been involved with Suzukis, I've never seen one in person.

There's a red soft top on here that had a turbo bolted on. Lgp29's is turbod but it has a 1.3gti motor bolted in. Personally, for the stuff around to turbo a G13a why not just bolt a G16b in and call it a day, less stuff around, it's proven, the conversion is cheap enough and it gives you the grunt the G13a is missing.

My g16 with 6.5 gears and 4.1 diffs on 32"s is never more than 1/4 throttle up hills. More power is always nice but the 1.6 is the limit for so many components it can become a costly exercise chasing an extra 50hp

My g16b with 6.5 gears and 31s pokes along alright too. 110 on the freeway is no drama

All of the above statements hold so much truth.

Steve; the reason you've never seen a turbo conversion in person is because 99% of them end up at the wreckers destroyed.

Displacement is no replacement for gearing.

Build going in another direction ==> The motors at the scrap metal recyclers and the turbos go back on ebay/fb for another go around.

Lots of g13s or g16s to replace that turbo and destroyed motor.
