Hey,

Just trying to help out a fellow Suzi owner, she has a 2litre that seems as though the transfer case is close to cactus.

Can a 1.6 transfer bolt physically onto her manual box ( disregarding ratios where possible atm as her gears seem to be fine as she has drive ) ? or will she need to get another 2litre transfer ?

Thanks
Pete

1.6 transfer will bolt straight up however the rear out put on the 88 to 95 1.6 tranfer is different to the 2L so just use the rear tailshaft from the 1.6 and you will be fine

You'll find that the 2L also change output splines around the same time as the Se416 so some earlier 2L have 26spline shafts also.

Thanks Joe, it all worked. I gave her one of my spare transfers and my tailshaft, she had transfer swapped in and they swapped the yokes over on the shafts, and all works good.
