That would be good to know! Custom tie rod or draglink in the works Tanshi?
For reference, the pitman arm taper on Vit and Sierra is the same. IF these are the same taper as the joint that goes into the pitman arm then I think they WILL be the same as Sierra tie rod ends.
If I had to guess i'd say they are the same.

Yep i'm with you.
I wonder if those Vit tie rod ends are both RH thread or one is LH and one is RH.

It would only make a difference in the fabrication of the link. If you are cutting the threads in a lathe, no biggie. But if you are going to buy a tap to cut the threads you will most likely find that a suitable LH tap will be MUCH harder to find and consequently MUCH more expensive.

Dudes, TE692R and L are your friends.
These are japanese 555 brand. Oh yeah these ones are greasable as well. I'm using them for a custom draglink on my zook. One left hand and one right hand thread. Probably good to go one of each if you are making a draglink as they'll always be trying to tighten each other up whereas two of the same thread can undo and change the length by themselves!
If you need some tie rod ends PM me. i'll have access to some towards the end of the week which I can post up from melbourne. Most likely those ends on ebay are made in india. Not well known for high quality driveline components, only assburning curries. (don't get me wrong I love a hot curry; not too keen on their driveline components )

The only reason you use one of each is so that the rod can be adjusted without having to remove one end from it's fixing position.
It in no way affects if they stay tight or not. That is entirely up to the person fitting them to torque them to the requires specs

Shouldn't they have jam nuts to keep them tight?

Any one know what diameter the standard drag link is? Sure you could turn it down and thread it so that you could keep the standard eye instead of running highsteer?

Drag link is 19.5mm
Tie Rod is 25.5mm
With tolerances of about 0.3mm

Different tierod end mate. The ebay one is TE692RF which is the 555 Japanese brand.
That one is a taiwanese made job, yes cheaper, but for a reason.
Each to their own though. you get what you pay for. Good luck
