What should I know and/or do before driving from Sydney to Melbourne in the little Sierra? Will it be okay driving on highways for long hours? Just need some advice. Cheers.

Haha!! Not so sure about the meth idea.

Service your car (or have it serviced), carry water. I take a tow strap and a couple of D shackles with me as cheap insurance. If you break down have someone tow you somewhere.

I did Adelaide to Perth in one no probs at all. 3000km in 3 days.

Ha gold!

Just go for it she'll be right. Be prepared to sit on around 90-100kph. Have frequent stops.

Take water, lots. Check all belts etc, maybe carry a spare. I would also put in new leads plugs and keep the olds a spares.
I would take some RP7, spare top up oil and a set of tools.

If AZ had a "like" button it should have been hammered for this post.

If it were me I'd service the zook and make sure its got good wheel bearings in it.

One day I'll do a good trip in the sierra for the novelty of it.
