I am curious: is there a difference between the g13 and g16 sohc heads and cams? I think they are the same but never seen that in writing. If same then a g13 sohc shaft would do of course.

I have a g16b. from your questio the sensor changes a to b did change the camshaft itself?

G16a is 8v, g16b is 16v.
G16b (vit) has gear teeth for the dizzy
G13bb (jimny cam) has teeth for the sensor (whispers of a different cam profile, i havent seen much info on this)
G16b (baleno coil pack) has different teeth for the sensor, and different to the jimny
G16b baleno dizzy/swift has end for dizzy out the back.

You will make less power with the g13bb camshaft in a g16b

I just need a g16b vit shaft to get it reground.

Only option so far is to buy the head tjat guy is selling in gumtree take the cam and throw the rest away...

Or get a new one at about 400 them get that reground. That would make it damn expensive.

If you can check your email though you n3ver responded to problems last year with the order for a diff and cross member. Until then i would always go to you first and tell everybody the same. I had some health issues and jusg let it go in the end. It would be nice to think you didnt read the email since you were fantastic to deal with up till then. I have reforwarded it now.
