Just wondering if the 2.5 gv brakes are transferable onto a sierra as an upgrade as one has lobbed in my yard.

They should be i think. But you will have the same issues with wheels the gv guys do

I dont think the caliper would line up with a gv disk. U may need a sv620 disk. I know the caliper mounts are a different offset between the gv and vit

Gv wheel bearing hubs are the same for vitara and gv so the disks and calipers should pair the same as vitara ones do

I don't think it will work easily. The late Vitara rotors have a shallower hat that requires a different caliper offset. (I have tried this) I guess with spacing the caliper it could work.

is the center bore the same as sierra? I thought they were 1mm larger?

even if they are 1mm bigger it makes no differnce

So it's only an issue for wheels? I would have thought that the rotors would need to be located by the hub to guarantee they were centered?

wheel nuts are tapered, if they are done up they wheel is centred

Just mocked them up on a sierra hub
Seem to fit well but contact the dustcover in places, also discs about 5-7mm larger than the dustcover.
Prob be midweek before i try put them on my car and bleed them up

yeah that happens on all the sierra brake up grades.

So calipers look to fit no dramas but the discs dont have enough backspacing by about 20mm. Will need vitara discs to make it work

2 litre Vitara discs don't have enough offset either so your stuck at ventilated 1.6 rotors.

They are both 46mm offset and gv is 29mm. 1.6 is only 17mm thick and gv and sv620 are 22mm thick
