Iv got a 1.3 sierra and the carby is doing my head in!!
What can I do? Coz. I like the 1.3 motor is a weber carby any good?

I've got a Weber on one of mine. It's ok, it's not awesome.

IMO they are too rudimentary in design to work well. I find that warm they work fine, the choke mechanism has never been good.

Having said this, I have electrically deactivated choke. Perhaps coolant deactivated or manual choke would be better?

Consider the 4K corolla carby conversion. I haven't done this yet myself however my understanding is that they are more or less the same as the orig carby (still Aisan carbs) just simpler in its design.

:deadhorse: Yeah I want a manual choke to... Its just really frustrating coz in my area there's afair bit of steep hills up and down with deep ruts and I can't just idle down them just stalls

Excellent result!! Easy fix.. Get a cheap timing light and set it properly
