Anybody done a 4k carby swap with the original 1.3lt carby? Mines playing up and I want it gone any help/advice would be good!!

The stock carby is fickle when they get old!!

I had one of mine rebuilt professionally and it runs magic now!! But it was a fair investment to have the job done right

FWIW the 4K carb is pretty much the same thing as a sierra one, just with a manual choke, slightly bigger throats and 2 float bowl vents instead of one.

I'd buy a brand new one off eBay rather than muck around with second hand stuff, they're only $180 posted.

Have you got a link,i've only ever seen the early model Suzuki ones for sale. TIA

Yeah I want the manual choke and I have been told they work better on angles
