Wondering if anyone with has, or knows how to, remove the plastic storage bucket in the rear of a GV?

It seems to have been installed by the factory before the black steel plate in the middle was put in

I have removed one, one the odd chance someone may want to buy one, but I will be the last I remove, as from memory it was a pain in the arse, did come out somehow though. good luck

It feels like its just sitting in there....no clips or screws. The only thing that seems to be stopping me from lifting it out is that bracket in the middle!

i believe you have to drop the fuel tank to get to the nuts on the under side....

Drill the bolts out and use a easy out. Then put new 8.8 bolts back in

B4T - no nuts from underneath, it's threaded into the body....looks like it was made that way so you can't just simply remove that brace.

Got bar work - that did cross my mind but too much effort.

The reason I wanted to remove it in the first place is because I managed to get water in there. I ended up just drilling a small hole from underneath the car to drain the water out and then just inserted a rubber plug afterwards.
