Hi all,
I have recently purchased a 95 model 2 door Vitra. I want to put bigger tires and a lift on it but dont know whee to start. I have about 4000 to through at this project but dont know anything about Vitaras and for that matter not much about cars at all. However this car will be my daily driver aswell as mostly going on the beach with a bit of 4x4 tracks thrown in, (nothing to insane but). However i need to know the goods and the bads of lifting and installing bigger tires on these small vechiles and also what brands, sizes and lifts will fit and not scrub out with a full load of 4 people?
Any help would be appreciated...

Cheers
Coope

Also i have herd of when big tires are added to these small tires it addes alot of pressure on the motor? does it get affected much? Also ive read that things break when big tires are added? what kind of things and is this due to serious four wheel driving or just because of the tires?

You may as well keep this same info in your other thread. This will probably be deleted.

If you have the money, take it to arb and get them to fit a OME 40mm lift.

The size of tyres that you can fit with a 40mm lift will not adversly effect the motor.
Take it to a tyre place and they should be able to tell you how big you can go.
