Looking for a pair of seats to go in the LJ. Small/skinny/thin is good; direct bolt in doesn't matter because rails are having to be fabbed up anyway. I can't seem to find a good, inexpensive pair of GTI swift seats, and a bit of a wrecker dive over the weekend has yielded few results. Although I did find that Paseo seats looked the goods, although there was only one in the wreck: Found a pair of GS barina seats, but the drivers one was worse for wear. Anyway you get the idea. Open to options. The cheaper the better but I don't want them trashed.

That's a good idea, actually.

Just looked there. Nothing of interest. I'm wanting a second set of GTI seats now too.

Well, I am in possession of a set of GTX Baleno seats and after a quick pre-fitment tonight it looks like even they might still be too tall in the base; head height definitely isn't at a premium to say the least. That's with no sliding rails, just sitting on the stock fixed mounts in the LJ.
Any other suggestions, brains trust?

My Sister has a GT starlet she may be wrecking soon. I could get some dimensions when I'm back down.

That would be golden.
In the mean time, I might have been successful in fabricoddling together some solid mounts that might work, but there isn't much left for room for a helmet on this dome of mine. Two days and a dozen beers works wonders for problem solving.
