Hi everyone, is anyone on here from WA that can wire in a G16B into a sj70, i'm having heaps of issues.

Been using warbirds guide but things don't seem to be adding up, I may even have the wrong ECU and/or wiring harness.

Thanks in advance, Tom.

The warbirds manual only covers series 1 vitara, not series 2 which runs a different loom/ecu/afm/injectorloom.

I'm starting to think that's my issue. it must be a series 2 as i have the 5 pin afm and the injector loom doesn't match up what so ever with his write up, I also have a 2 pin dizzy :(

Is it still possible to do the conversion?

I'm thinking that's what my issue is, would you know if the swap is still possible, would i just need an obd2 diagram and work it out from there or do i need to swap components over?

Thanks for the replies.

I've done both series Vitara, the 2nd series being easier then the first. Depending on how literate you are with wiring diagrams, I can put up the ecu pinouts for the 2nd series. You'll have the hotwire AFM if it is, and the smaller Dizzy cap.

edit :

series 1 is the 5 pin AFM that is the vane type.
series 2 is the hotwire afm which is 3 pin.
