Is there any easy ways to get the code out? Or do I have to bridge out terminals and count flashes?

I get a check engine light after prolonged freeway then letting the car sit for 15 mins or so.

It keeps revs but all power drops off for a few seconds the light comes on.
Happens once or twice then it's fine again until the next time I stop for 15-20 mins.

Is there any obvious culprits. I'm Assuming it's a heat soak into something??

My bets are on O2 sensor.

flashing codes is the quickest and cheapest way of diagnosing it though.
