I've been to Protec and all they can supply me is the black, green and brown.
Anyone have a lead and/or source of supply for the light tan?

There are two 'tan' colours, so it's specifically the Light Tan I am looking for. As per below:

342-7165 - Camouflage Black
342-1166 - Camouflage Green
342-5265 - Camouflage Tan (Brown)
342-5726 - Camouflage Light Tan

Protec can mix any colour in 342 paint but it's gloss. They do sell some kind of flattening stuff but I don't think many stores have it, I couldn't get them to make me anything satin anyway.

There's some info on the flattening stuff on aulro but I can't find it.

Everyone has always said the light tan is hard to get.

You could use the gloss tan and then use a scotch brite or some 1200 wet to knock the gloss off after it's dry?
Or as sideways said, protec make a gloss reducer that can be added to the paint.

Yeah, they said they could add a matting agent to any of their paints, but it won't be quite as flat and won't be quite the same as the stupidly easy to use military camo stuff... which sort of defeats the purpose.

If I end up making up a satin of some sort I'll pick a different colour entirely.

FYI flattening agent can and will kill the UV resistance of the paint. So it will degrade quicker in the sun.

Also some old school painters have said to use talcum powder as a matting agent. I'm yet to try it.

Great info, and answers another question I had. Thanks for that.

x2 Proof is in my paint work. So sad, looked really good when it went on, but it was a bit of an experiment when mixed by my mate.
Next time I will just go for gloss in the same colour, so much easier to keep clean too. If your into that sort of thing...
