I drive a dual cab BT50 Daily and it is a godsend to have ESP in the wet. It Never bothers me in the Dry. You have to be driving like a real moron to get it to Kick in. Honestly if your battling with ESP on a daily basis you should have a real hard look at yourself.

In my opinion any car especially with live axle('s) & High Cog. In the wet on hilly twisty roads it WILL save your life or someone Else's.

In regards to off roading.
in the RG Colorados, once in Low range. No ABS, No ESP, No traction control at all.

Yeah I have to agree, and after going from a jimny to a dual cab Triton I noticed a big difference on slippery wet roads, not that ive seen ESP or TSC come on in it yet it's nice to know it has those features.

Also, it's not just you're own safety at risk, it's your friends, family, and complete strangers In other cars, such simple safety features can help prevent bad accidents. And as good as you may think your driving is, can you honestly say everyone else who drives your car will be such a good driver?

A little off topic. I go back to Japan most years and there are JB23's everywhere, very common and popular. You only see the odd JB43 "wide" body
