Hi All! I hope everything is going well!

I have a 99' SQ420 SWB GV and my girlfriend and i are getting pretty serious! Problem is that she already has a Bubba from her previous relationship, I won't go into specifics haha. My question is does the 3 dr GV come with anchor points for a baby seat? I've had a good look and can't find anything the looks like one, mind you I bought the car second hand and the guy had taken the rear seats out once or twice and fitted a box in but he gave me the seats and the mounting hardware as well but I don't know if I got every bracket and what not :/ We want to go camping next weekend and the track needs 4WD access and her Focus won't cut it!

I'll try a photo of mine tonight but mine is a 5 door. I removed the luggage straps in the rear door jam. They use the same bolt as the seat anchor. The biggest problem then is the boot is almost useless as it's cut in half with the straps

Pop out the plastic cap and unbolt.

If what you're asking about are the ISOFIX or LATCH type of anchors, no, this vehicles predates those systems - most baby seats, however, allow a standard lap or three point car seat belt to be used to secure them.

Isofix was actually illegal in Australia until quite recently Fordem. Because stupid bureaucrats.

x2, you can't really be cheap when it comes to children in cars.
I personally won't put my kids in a car that is not Euro Ncap 5 star rated.

I already had 4 car seats at 350 each. Not going to replace them. They are 5 star safety rated. I agree I would use isofix if buying new seats.
