Can someone please help, what does this mean.

I turned off the fan and hence the AC this afternoon while idling at the lights and wound the windows down. The green ac light flashed a few times, stopped flashing then flashed about once per second for about 15 seconds then went off.

What the hek is this?

On the new NGV the recirc light flashes when the cabin filter is blocked. Check that out and see if that's the cause

An 04 should have the newer dash with three round knobs for the a/c controls - the flashing lights indicate a problem and there's a way to make them flash a code that pinpoints the problem - unfortunately I don't have the manuals for that year.

The problem is most likely related to one of selector blend doors not moving or not moving freely - fresh/recirculate, hot/cold and distribution.

Yes this is consistent with other posts I've seen but it didn't happen till I turned it off. That's What is weird.

Can Anyone tell me how to extract the code and what they mean?

I have the service manual but can't find anything about getting ac codes. Do You know what section it would be in?
Or Is it the same as getting engine codes, i.e.. need a code reader?

Check section 1B - HVAC - the Suzuki scan tool can be used and there should also be a way to get the a/c indicator to flash a code sequence.

Well this wouldn't have been helping.
Yep all that stuff on the ground was on the filter. Looks Like it's due for replacement too.

Wow! Definitely wouldn't of been helping. Has the issue persisted?

Side note; looks like there's a pink iPod in amongst the leaves! Haha

Light came on again today. Seemed like a sequence. 2 flashes a pause then 14 or15 flashes. Hard to count while driving.

Also I had codes checked on the weekend and nothing about the ac. The lights flashes on the same section of road as last time. 100ks for about 10min on the highway, then up hill for the last k. On the way up the hill the light stated flashing. I turned off the ac left the fan on. The light keeps flashing for about 5 sequences then stopped.

Ummmm. Don't know. All I've done is replace the cabin filter.

The code suggested faulty HVAC sensor in the fan box I think from memory. But was advised expensive and not detrimental if only intermittent.

Now that I think of it I haven't had the problem since a few weeks after replacing the filter.
