Hi guys, I have a '11 GV urban 2.4 petty, looking at putting a set of 16's on but my tyre guy thinks they'll fowl on the breaks, I have all the offsets figured out just wondering if anyone has more information for me,

Cheers

The early 2nd gen 2.7litre GV could be had with 16" alloys.
I know of a later diesel with 16" black steel sunnies on it, so a chance that the brakes didn't get too big in the later cars to fit 16" - only a cosmetic thing to fit 17"?.
Don't know for sure though - where are you? - have a set of std 16" alloys, could try one on.

I'm in Adelaide, I know the same stock GV in my year had 16 inch steel rims so that's why I'm 99% sure my brakes aren't bigger, maybe the V6 but I can't see why the 'urban' pack would.

Cheers for the help
