Hi all

I may have found my unicorn (at least for me) a LWB sierra Armsup . I'm going to check it out tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could complete the list of rust areas to be looking for.

Sofar I'm aware of:
Sills under the rust catchers - i mean side skirts
at the base of the windscreen

I can guarantee this has been asked before but the search term sierra rust obviously turns up a few too many results  - Or if there is an obvious buying guide I've missed on here just paste the link in

Thanks

Wheel arches, look from the inside of the car/engine bay.
Around the front door hinges
Front body mounts behind the headlights
Every seam in the interior
Base of targa bar under the plastic cover
Base of the A pillars

Pretty much anywhere 2 panels join.

Thanks sideways and Mr rocky.

I'll have a good solid look around keeping in mind it is 30 year old. Should be fun to go from the comforts of a Jimny to a lwb Sierra - what could go wrong.

Just went through this whole process!
With my lwb. Front fender/arch and where they attach/join the to firewall. My pedal box was about to push through. But only $200 to fix!

All I can say just buy new parts from eBay india. Quick to post and cheap!
