I'm trying to work out what my front clip is off it looks nothing like any of the SJ70s I have seen
the flares are molded as part of the clip instead of being removable

Intriguing!! What's underneath? Is anything bolted together? Is it steel or fibreglass?

I had a weird moulded version on a car many years back, looked to be welded and bogged

99% sure its steel
no bolts or anything I can see holding it on
but havn't tired pulling it off yet

and if its welded and bogged there did a bloody good job of making it flush

SJ50 clip with a flare welded/bogged on. Nothing a panel beater or skilled backyarder couldn't whip up.

SJ70 has the side indicator in the area between the hinges and flare.

Early SJ70 still had the forward indicator, I think they might have went to the indicator near the door when they went to the updated grill?

A photo from underneath would probably tell us what it is, if it has the flare brackets. Run a magnet around and see what bog you find.
