Noticed my rear indicators, brake lights, reverse lights and Parker's stop working when I turn on the Parker's or headlights. All the front lights work and all the other rear lights work without the headlights or Parker's on. Checked continuity of grounds and checked all fuses. Only started doing it today. Not sure where to start with it tomorrow.

It's a ground issue, to be specific, it is a rear light ground issue.

Worked it out it was related to the chassi not being properly grounded to the battery and body.

Ex factory, the chassis is not a part of the electrical system, the battery negative connects to the bell housing (for the starter & alternator returns) and to the body (for all other returns), so I suspect that at some point some one grounded your rear lights incorrectly, are discussing the vehicle in your avatar pic.? Was a tray conversion done?

It has always been a tray back. Well Since Ateco imported it and chopped it into a tray back in '92. My accelerator cable snapped last week. I wonder if that was the path ground was taking to the chassis lol?

I'm guessing on factory traybacks there was a cable to the chassi and it was part of the electrical system?

Interesting, this is my factory wiring from the body to the chassis beside the drivers side tail lights. You can just see the connection onto the body in the background of this pic.
I was chasing a fuel gauge fault and found this wire had broken on the chassis side of the connection. I ran a dedicated earth for my fuel gauge and fixed this connection on the factory wiring as well.

And the passenger side also connects the lights to the chassis and the chassis to the body.

I ran some thick cable and ring terminals from the battery to the one of the bolts securing the fuel line on the chassis and it fixed it. My fuel gauge reads more accurately now too. I tested for continuity between the body and chassis and It was showing a lot of resistance before.
