Yes, definitely, but once you do that thou don't use a front airlocker to go in the front, you use a rear.
Front= 22 spline axles
Rear= 26 spline axles.

All upgraded front axles are 26 spline.

Threw an auto locker in the front of mine and killed a stock cv first time I really used it in anger.
Running chromo cv's and axles now which are all 26 spline. All the zooks I know that ran stock cv's and axles have had failures when locked.

The arb locker replaces everything except r&p
I ran rear arb up front no issues, stock axles dont last so chromos and rear arb up front are a good move first up

You'll love it!

Word of advice - once you get the front locker in and working - drive some really easy tracks with it locked so you get a feel for how the steering behaves, because it's VERY different on loose surfaces, and VERY heavy on high traction surfaces (ie: slows down your steering response).

Yeah I'm keen! Always just had mini spool in the rear and it goes everywhere with it so keen to see where I can drive with a locker

Make sure your ARB installer routes the internal (inside diff) lines properly as per ARB pattern.
The diff guy I used (reputable) routed it like a Dana44/60 and it hence the internals of the Sierra diff housing had to be notched to clear the ARB metal air line.

I upgraded to RCV 26 spline shafts.

Most diff installers would almost never see a D44 or D60 in Australia.

The new design arb sierra locker (old patent is used by chinasoong air lockers) is much better regarding routing of the copper line. Any competent mech should be able to do it no dramas, arb offer a 5yr warranty when they do the install had one done last week on the daily

The way the copper hose is run and other small differences
Its more that the patent run out on the old design hence chinasoong lockers are a direct copy of the old arb design

Is it? Once I factor in the shipping, I figure I could get a genuine ARB air locker for about the same thing a CAP locker would cost me.

The aussie dollar is the major determining factor, but they aren't half price. They are usually within a few hundred dollars ($700-ish versus $950 for the ARB).

That includes a compressor of course, but that are hardly good quality. Probably fine to turn a locker on and off for a while but when used to air up and down they seem to die a very quick death.

I don't think anyone has actually had any issues (compressor notwithstanding) but I spent my money on a second hand genuine ARB instead.
