Hi people, I'm sure this has been done before but my sj50 transfer case is stuck in neutral. It hasnt been driven in a while and when I tried to go from 2h to 4l it got stuck in n and wont budge. the stick can be wobbled and it has been a bit sloppy and difficult to change for a while. i have tried turning the shafts and such to no effect. what can I do?

Pull the stick out and replace the polyurethane bush.

We can supply a replace bush and the tool to remove the shifter whilst it's in the vehicle.

Does the tool find neutral before you put the new stick and bush in. I remember it being a shitfight finding it with two screwdrivers.

I thought you were ment to line the slots in the shift rods up to re install the shifter and new bushing. Which is 4 high not neutral?

That's how I always get shifters in and out.
