I've recently purchased a 22" light bar to fit to the basket on the roof of my SQ625 GV and I'm just looking for any advice on what is the best way to wire it up without drilling into the roof. I'm also in the market for a snorkel (any advice on where to look also appreciated) and I'm thinking of running the wiring from the light bar to the engin bay along the snorkel. Would love some advice if anyone has done the same.
Thanks

First - snorkels - few of the big snorkel manufacturers do anything for the SQ series - Safari don't do one, Airflow don't do one, OGZ in Brazil do, fts in Taiwan do - there is supposedly a Hilux snorkel that's a reasonably good fit.
Second - roof mounted lighting - what's the amp draw on the light bar? I have "pre-wired" my SQ for a roof mounted LED bar by running the cable through the right side roof rail and down inside the tailgate alongside the hinges in split loom, it's almost unnoticeable, but only suitable for relatively low amp draws because of the voltage drop that would be incurred due to wire length - I would not suggest this for LED lighting over 150W, and would not recommend it for halogen lamps.

We have mounted 42" light bars on both the Sieras just above the windscreen (both soft tops) and have ran the cable down behind the snorkels next to the windscreen. You can barely see the cable and it runs straight into the engine compartment to the battery and then through the firewall to the switch.
This is a great link! Thanks for the share. I think I'm going to end up running the wiring from the roof mounted light bar down the back of the snorkel into the engine bay via a small grommit. FTS seem like the best option for a snorkel and they have a bunch of other gear which I am struggling to find anywhere else.
