i've been able source most of the parts, except for the bloody bumper
then greg tells me that its just simple folded metal, so I'm hoping someone has one of these cars in melb so i can take measurements and have it made
or a cardboard trace of the profile will do with a couple of phots

Hey mate are u rafter measurements for a lj bumper or sierra here is some measurements of a lj bumper

Length is 129cm
Height 11cm
Width of the top is 8cm
Width of the bottom is 4cm
The ends on the top are angled starting at the mounts to the end the end of the angle is 4cm

Hope this can be of some use

The stock bumper is made out of sheet metal and is quite flimsy. I've never seen one that wasn't bent or dented. Personally I plan to replace mine with a thicker one made from RHS with a radius welded on each end, basically like a series Land Rover bumper.

Must be lucky mines perfectly straight my hole Ute was prtiy good the fella looked after it apparently
