Hi guys,
Just finished g16b baleno dual coil conversion to my coily.
I've been using 4 - 2 - 1 headers to clear the engine mount.

Now from mechanic check co test shows to high... 0.58... instead of 0.3

He thinks that the headers oxygen sensor mount with the aftermarket headers differently than stock.

It mout and test only two cylinders instead of four.

Anyone can verify that this is the problem before im going to change the position of the sensor down to the collector of all 4 cyl.

Or maybe it just a mad sensor...?

Someone else maybe able to answer your question in more detail but from my racing days I had the sensor mounted in a position to pick up all gases from the 4 cylinders.

Posted a pic of the header sensor location so others can comment

It won't make any difference. O2 sensing is for light load/cruising fuel trim only - it has no effect on idle CO%.

I don't believe a bad sensor will cause high CO% at idle.

How is your air filter set up?

I have K&n filter with home made snorkel and a pre-cleaner

I conected to a scanner to the engine computer .. and checked the readings on the sensor...

90%~ of the times it show reads "lean, lean, lean"
But actualy it works too rich, thats why i think the computer takes reading engine work to lean and adds more fuel.

I've added the method suzuki says to check the sensor, is this enough to check the sensor is o.k?
