Can anyone tell me the max tow weight of 94 5 door Vitara?

Book says 680 braked, but I'm sure there's another formula for towing in Australia ... ....

Cheers fordem, I was always under the impression that it was the same 450kgs for both swb & lwb, I built my trailer to suit the swb’s limit of 450 & never checked the lwb. Both of my vits had the larger brakes of the SV series & they got no extra tow rating.

That manual was supplied with an SV620, but seems to cover the entire Vitara range up to 1998 along with the X-90 - all engine variants are documented, including the RF diesel used in Europe - the towing weight is just that one page.
