Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know what the dynamic weight limit for a tin top sierra is? Just about to go on my first big trip in the new rig and want to know how much I can fit up there.

I don't recall what the owners manual says, 30Kg? but in any case, roof load on a sierra is a terrible idea. Not only will your fuel economy and highway speed be noticeably reduced, there is a high likelihood you'll crack the base of the A pillars.

The roof is only suited to very light things, which tend to have a large volume (clothes bags, heaven forbid a swag etc)so the aerodynamic effect is large.
