New to the grand vitara scene and was wondering if you can change the h4 style headlight in my 3dr to the projector style from the 5dr version.

Hi Tazz,
At the year of your car (2008), the lights were the same for 3 & 5 door versions.
The Prestige with the 3.2litre V6 copped fancy lights to go with the fancy price in 2010.
Later, other 5 doors have fancy lights.
The grill & bumpers have 3 different profiles over the years, but I think (stand to be corrected) the basic light shape is the same.
It might be physically possible to put the later lights in the holes where yours sit, but wiring them is not going to be simple & introducing washer jets to keep them legal would also be a challenge.
In theory, possible, but practically, not worth the effort.

The car is currently at the mechanics..... dreded 2.4l problem of 08/09 cracked block at 157000ks...
