Mainly seats and carpet, which can take ages to properly dry out.

Condensation in the instrument cluster, long term might cause corrosion with interior electrics (heater cig lighter, fuses, anything else under the dash)

More to consider HERE

A good way for rust to start, or continue - depending on where the car is at, rust wise.
The hard tar like body deadner is bound to be cracked & rain will get between it & the floorpan, hiding corrosion until the deadner flakes off, or holes appear on the underside.

I had a banger in pretty ordinary condition, it had no roof or windows for ages. It was ok, but I’d make sure all the carpets and vinyl mats etc.

Rain is fresh water, so as long as it’s not full of salty beach sand or it gets rinsed here and there it should be ok but everything will weather like a bastard. Dash, instruments, seats ect. I used to pop the front up on ramps and rinse the inside with the hose washing all the crap from front to the back.

At least get a decent tarp over it when you’re not using it I reckon.

I had a Sierra I ran with no roof. All I did was remove the grommets in the floor so the rain could drain out (didn’t run carpet obviously) and used some vinyl seat covers as the seats take a while to dry. Was fine.

G'day everyone thanks for the reply's, there is no carpet or vinyl and the drain bungs are removed, the seats are going to need reupholstering at some stage so could you just do it in a heavy vinyl or canvas so the water runs off?
Cheers Jack.

Seats need seamless covers. Reupholstered seats will leak into the foam at the seams and the seats will fall apart quickly.
