I am rebuilding my Tcase, with the intention of using twin sticks. I know I need to leave on of the ball bearings out, is it the one shown in step 72-73 here? http://www.trail-gear.com/pdf/suzuk-tcase.pdf


I am fairly sure it is, however I want to know before I put it all together....

i believe so but i've never done it... also when putting your counter shaft in make sure you put it in the way they say as it shears the seal in half other wise... and a leaky TC is no good...

There are 3 balls... Leave out the one that goes between the shift rods.

There's 3 small balls and 1 bigger one for the shift switch. Having 3 balls is not ballsy, it's seriously freaky! As Want33s said, the one to remove is between the shift rods:
