Yesterday driving to work the shifter felt like it went past first gear (further then the gears stick is supposed to go). It got a bit stuck but pulled back then appeared to be stuck in first gear.
The top gear shifter bush had desintergrated and was non existant. The linkages tell It is definitely stuck in first but I can't dislodge it or shift it back into neutral.
Also how does the top gear shifter bush get put on the gears stick :/ thick gearstick tiny hole, how do you split the stick?
