Hello all,

New to the Zook world with my 2002 Jimny and couldn't be happier, cannot wait for the things to come.
I am in the process of going over the car as I have only just bought it and noticed that I have an issue.

As per the title, a bent transfer case chassis mount is the culprit.
I have attached a photo to aid in conveying the issue.

My question is regarding the options I have.
Understanding bending it back into place is probably not an ideal solution, would cutting the bracket and re-welding a thicker steel plate with a gusset be a better option.
I am not aware, through my short time researching, that an aftermarket mount is available to replace what seems like a pretty weak mount.

I assume the mount itself has had a direct impact due to how its been bent and the lack of damage in the surrounding area.
Anyone else ever come across this? If so I'd love to hear about it.

Bash it back straight and double it up with a bit of 3mm flat bar welded in.
