I may have the option to get my hands on a new jimny in the coming months.
As im getting older rowing gears gets more tedious than in my younger years and as such im considering the auto option.
However and its a big however. Jimny autos have a very average rep in previous models, im led to belive this auto is pretty much the same but behind a heavier more powerful car.
Is it a waiting game to see how many blow up or am i being overly paranoid.

Also is somebody with a new jim able to tell me if they are down on the rego as being a panelvan or sedan ?

I don't have any inside information, but at least with a new jimny you could run an OBD interface to monitor trans temp. (I assume)
