Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get an air intake case for my 97 sierra, part number above or postfab that is good quality?
OR
Is there some way to replace it with a snorkle, I would like to get one down the track anyway.

I don't quite get what the problem is.

The part number you list will suit all 1.3 sierras as far as I am aware. A Suzuki parts specialist and/or wrecker such as Suziworld in Diamond Creek, Victoria, should be able to help you.

Whether or not you fit a snorkel makes no difference, you still need this part - a snorkel is pre air filer, this part is post air filter.

I think the problem they're finding, as I am for a coily I'm tidying up, is that the air filter hose is unique to the coily and the SJ80 one seems to be out of production.

If that is your concern miki_e then I don't think a snorkel is going to help you as Steve said, it addresses the wrong part of the intake system.
