just wondering on what peoples thoughts on fitting a body lift are. I run ruf and 2'' lifted rears on 31x10.5 and the front guards have been cut and seems hammered but it still scrubs on full lock when fully compressed.
will a body lift make a considerabe difference to my cog.

keep it low where possible mate.How hard does it scrub?But its all up to you anyways

mine has a bodylift,but i sorta wish it didnt.Mine has a exo n a hardtop so i got a bit of extra weight up there,yours should handle the little bit extra height tho id say,90% of zooks run em fine

only scrubs on the fire wall on full lock on full compression maybe i should just move the front diff forward

extend the bumpstops untill it doesnot rub

it has about 35mm bumpstop extensoins aswell

it may help
but you may run into problems with the tyres hitting your head light buckets or front bar

i could live with it rubbing on the head light bucket just gets annoying listening to the tyre rub on the fire wall after a while as for the front bar i think the tyres woud clear it

It's an easy job but will it fix the issue, if it rubs on the vertical surface will 2" give enough clearance. Move the diff forward will work better and bring out the BFH to make up the rest. A BL doesn't do too much to the COG moves it about 15mm.

what sort of wheels are you using? When I put my 31 x 10.5's on my 15 x 8 rims, even with a bodylift it would scrub like a mofo. Moved my diff forward something like about 18mm and it fixed the problem. You don't want to go too far forward or else your steering linkages will bind.

mine is forward 45mm with no problems.

I'm running exactly the same setup with 24mm bump stops and I don't scrub. I reckon leave out the body lift and try moving the diff forward. Heres a pic of my front fully compressed
