Im looking for a way to make my sway bar disconnecting, so that when going off-road I can basically pull a pin and it’s done.

If people have already fab up a design, could they please posts pics

i've never made one but if there is a market i can... sway bars on leafies make no difference anyway...

dissconnect it with a spanner then throw it in the back of the shed :lol:

I gotta put mine back on so I can get the body lift certified. If there was an easy solution for disconnecting it I would happily run it on the road.

I can't remember how the sway bar mounts to the chassis on a Sierra. I used to run mine without it too. My Jimny is a bit sloppier around corners without the sway bar compared to a Sierra. I set up a hanger so I only have to unbolt it from the chassis. It hangs in the centre using a rubber exhaust hanger. It works quite well

The square tube comes out when I unbolt it and the hanger suspends it about 50mm from the chassis. It only makes contact when flexed> I can live with the odd clunk

lucky, cause your car an`t gunna get any quieter.

My car`s got lot`s of moan`s & groan`s of road, the door light even come`s on when a wheel is cocked.

Springs re-seating still make me nervous ... sometimes.
