droop will still be limited by shock length ? i think the rig they use in those pics has a 6" lift. it would be interesting to drive and see how it goes, but this time im not going first. not keen to drill through the chassis rails.

Aren't you guys lacking rear roll stiffness as it is??

Jimnys have good roll stiffness, for road use. And off road the rear seems about right.
Buy it and let us know how it feels? I think it would drive under itself and be spooky on hills.

That bracket that requires drilling the chassis would be so much better designed if it accepted a square u-bolt or two to clamp it to the chassis instead...

How? Doesn't it pick up a factory bolt hole at the far end? (Screws up from the bottom). That would locate it laterally, then the U-bolt would clamp it to the chassis.
Just saying, wouldn't take much more thought to better engineer to avoid drilling the chassis.

Nah it bolts up further back on the chassis then the origional rear arm mounts It has to because otherwise its not 4 link. The lower arms use the origional mount

I was thinking more so it was reversible given next to no jimnys on here are engineered. But a bolt on solution without drilling/welding would also make it more attractive for people to fit themselves (then again that may not be a good thing).

I think how it's mounted isn't as important as is it necessary in the first place. Considering the rear arms/bushes of a jimny provide more travel than the spring design can use, and the Jimnys I've seen suffered from inadequate rear roll stiffness, I'd say this is a pointless part.
