I got 2 Phantom Grip lockers (LSD's really) from Suzisport for my Jimny. There is absolutely NO WAY that it would ever fit in the rear due to the 2 sets of pinion gears. The fronts fit only because we were able to grind down the side gears by a few mollimetres.
My only option if I wish to have a locker in the rear as I see it is an ARB air locker.
I actually think the LSD in the front and A/L in the back is a suitable mix because of course the front hubs re disengaged whilst on road and will not be constantly wearing as there is no way to lock and unlock the LSD itself. Whereas, the rear is a permanent drive diff, so a manual A/L is perfectly suited to this situation.
oozuk - What is your preference for rear locker in a 09 Jimny?

In what way is your '09 jimny diff different to the earlier jimny years?
Reason being, I use a jimny diff centre in my '95 maruti/sierra - It was a bolt in swap.

rear locker is always a good start just that alone will make a large difference to where your car will drive, buy an air locker, there much better fit and reliable when installed correctly, try to steer away from the ratchet lockers there more of a budget solution with the trade off being everyday driveability where the air locker behaves just like a factory diff when switched off, so driving on road is still great, also if you ever brake an air locker (which is unlikely in a jimny) every part of the locker is available as a replacement part so you can repair rather than replace

I have no idea how they are different. I am under the impresion they are the same.
The difference is between the front and rear. The rear has the extra set of gears and if these are removed to allow room, this would severely reduce the strength of the drive, and they would surely be shredded in a short time.
So, 1 LSD cost me $600. One Air Locker installed with tyre compressor will cost me $2,077. For an extra $600, I could have got dual air lockers. I suppose I could still go that way, but the front is installed already.

rear is the same as sierra just different ratio, it's the front that differs as it's a high pinion diff centre

oozook. If I can get some photos tomorrow, I will post and explain.
I was told yesterday that there is someone on the AZ forum that works at UV4x4. If he is interested in offering a decent deal for supply only of the ARB tyre compressor and 1 Air locker for rear, I'd be interested.
