Wiring up a new taillight and it seems it is wired incorrectly from factory so it blew the indicator fuse.
I fixed the problem, replaced the fuse and then the flasher can melted!!!!!!
Both the hazard and indicator fuses are good but I have no lights anywhere on the car???????
Any ideas on what to check?

I thought about that as I walked back outside so I just tried another switch assembly with no luck.

Start with seeing if you have ignition power on the right wire at the indicator stalk, then power out ofr left and right as you switch either way
then battery power at the hazard and power in from the indicator stalk as you switch either way then out again, then work your way back

Found a dead earth from the flasher can so replaced it.. Now have RH indicators but hazards don't want to work... Flasher can just clicks really fast. No LH indics. at all.

If you've passed enough current through the flasher to melt it, you may have fried one of the other wires around there too...
Assuming that the can melted after you changed the fuse and fixed up the wiring, you may still have a wiring problem somewhere, and fixing whatever melted may just result in you melting everything again...

Nope... One flasher can does both.
When LH indicator is selected the flasher can clicks once so the switch must be OK.
