Hoping someone in auszookers world can help us with aproblem with our sj50 nt Sierra. We recently installed new heavy duty 2" lift springs and shocks in the car and put all new wheels and tyres on it (15x7 sunnies)
we have the car back on the ground and for some reason the drivers sideis currently sitting 1" lower than the passengers side. Can anyone point us in the direction that could be causing this?

Did you fit springs to correct sides , drivers side will be higher than passenger , as they assume there will be a driver only most of the time , Cheers Paul.

is it the same front and rear or does it lean down to one corner?

was it like that,straight away or sagged over a period of time?

Check the numbers on the springs, see if there is a different letter on one pair.
Like MART said, they assume it is only the driver most of the time in the car, because no one else would be seen dead in a Sierra.

Yep. Left and a right side spring.

I would be caught dead in a sierra..

Both front springs are marked "SUZI 5L-F" and Rear marked "SUZI 4+1R-RH & LH" and in the right spots. We assume front ones are in right position as well.

Yes it is the same front & back. When springs were fitted everything was OK after driving out the drive way and back in, drivers side now 20mm lower both front and back.

Try swapping front springs maybe? If that doesn't work I'd look at adding a leaf to the drivers side.

Don't know if any of this helps. We measured the height from the floor to the bottom centre of our wheel arches with the old springs and wheels and tyres on it. We are guessing the old springs were the original standard items as they had 3 leaves front and 3 leaves rear, the new ones are 5 all round. The old tyres were Khumo AT 205 70/15 on 15x5.5 rims. The new tyres are Yokohama Geolander 205 70/15 on 15x7 rims.
The measurements are as follows
Passengers front 734 -> 805
Passengers rear 780 -> 845
Drivers front 732 -> 800
Drivers rear 780 -> 845
so at the time we lowered it off the stands with the new rims it was pretty close to level (with a 2" spring and shock lift)
Now the Drivers side has dropped front 790 rear 830. The passengers side is identical to when it was first dropped.

If You have a difflock, or LSD, springs can wind up on tight turns.
It may go down again after driving.

If springs came from OverSeas, they could be wrong sides for our zooks.
Time may get them all softened up,
and could be fine after being used well.
