I was wondering, if people are fitting 1.3WT cvs and axles to there jimny's why won't chromo's fit in the knuckle?
Are there WT/NT Jimny models? Or are they all the same? Mine is a 99 G13bb
I know the 26spline is different, but I was kinda thinking that I would get custom axles made up anyway to suit the 22spline air locker I already have.
Im sure I've missed something really important, but I can't see why it wouldn't work...

There are W/T and N/T jimny's, but we never go the N/T's here. I think the jimny cv's are the size of 1 liter NT cv's from what reading i have done on the subject. Jump on bigjimny.com and ask the question there, as a lot of the guys over their run HD axle's and cv's.

when i was breaking standard CV's it was the inner section that would crack and the spline would just slip in it.

our jims are wt.
They are a wider track than the sierra wt so the axles will have to be longer.
Jims are 1L size front diff/axles/cvs. The cv's look cute..

Ahh, thanks tim and monley.
I'll make a trip up to see you tim and grab my bits from you, I think I'll start stockpiling jimny stuff....
My plan is to get tims axles and put them on some 1.3CVs I have here. If that works I'll see if they fit in the knuckle, if that works I'll try to put a birfield ring on. I drive very gently, so I'm not anticipating breaking anything....
Booyaa!

Haha, doubt it, I'm the same as dan, drove really hard at first then softened up and now I don't break a thing. Also know where the limit is is a pretty good thing.

Well i know outback axles and cv's are puny. Had to change an inner front cv boot a while ago. Not really an upgrade.

Hmm, Internet myths hey.......
Will try to fit just a Sierra CV, if that works I'll go from there. I can't find any information about it anywhere, so I'll just explore around....
