hi everyone, i just bought a 1997 coily and was wondering if there is any thing i should brace/replace on it befor i go wheeling so far i have: 30"x9.5 maxxis buckshots on sunraisia rims (15x8) alloy roll and bull bar also is there any mods i can do at all any help is apreciated

im limited to first year aprennis wages
hav already removed swaybar
i hav been told i need to brace controll arm mounts?

Brace all the radius arm mounts on both the diffs. Reinforce the shock towers. Swap in a gear driven transfer.
Buy a leafy.

On the topic,
You can do things like diff breathers, headlight upgrade, LED interior light, and reverse light (camp light), general maintenence.... Heaps of low budget stuff you can do.

thanks so much guys i got a LED interior light (lights) it lights up my whole car and ill start makin a reverse light today  as for breathers what is the best hose to use? also fatzook any chance you could brace my difs aswell?

My front diff is from a leaf sprung Sierra. The rear is standard coily...unbraced The mounts just get swapped for a thicker material 3 or 5mm
why a leafy front diff and does the rear need bracing?

fully sick coily wrote: does the rear need bracing? Only ever had a problem with my rear diff. I think this is because the rear of a coily works a lot better than the front...suspension wise, therefore it creates a lot more stress on the mounting points. JMO though

ok so i made up a reverse light (150w) polished my bull/roll bar attempted fender flares (epic fail  ) ripped my soft top and installed 2 150w spotties what other easy mods is there?
