Just go to Repco/Autobarn/Supercheap and check the catalogue in the isle where the gear oils are kept. If you use a good brand such as castrol then you won't go wrong.

From memory, gearbox and transfer combined require about 2.5 litres. Diffs (slightly different grade again) take about 1.5L each.

i have some oil at home here already i found. does anyone know if its 85-90 grade?

oh good work. its all there. i did see the link last time but didnt click it

ment to be 75w-85. do you think 85w-90 will work also? save me buying it wen i have a full 4 litres already

I don't think it would do any harm in the transfer especially in Qld.
I would stick with the recommended VMX80 or equivalent for the gearbox.

my stuff is actually 80w-90 i think if i remebmber correctly.
