hi all, i have a 92 sierra on 31" muddies. and was wondering what are some cheap but good mods that can be done to it?. cheers.

Depending on your tools/capability removing a muffler or two from the exhaust is almost free and will give you a small gain in power and mileage, and get a bit of a note to it.
New set of plugs and leads, airfilter or atleast blow it out.
Dont know if you just brought the car but if you did chances are its been sitting for a while so drop out the fuel from the tank probly a bit stale.
Just sit there and have a look all over the car and fix a few little things and get it all working ie Fix that interior light thats not working, chuck some 20 dollar seat covers on that torn/worn seat.
Fix whats not working mod everthing else.

i have a new set of leads plugs airfilter, i have fixed the interior lights got seat covers, i have changed every oil, stripped the interior and gave it a could clean

what pipe would use recommend to run? for exhaust that is.

It varies abit somewhere around 2" to 2.75" and if its a soft top make sure you point it out to the side of the vehicle, you only make that mistake once, all the gas will swirl round and reenter the car, not fun when your out spotlighting for a couple hours.

What else has been done to the car?
What terrain do you drive?
What fab skills do you have?
What do you call cheap?

car has 2inch extended shackles, 2" suspension lift, newheadlights, and other bits and pieces. i drive all types off terrains what ever the tracks throw at me, not much fab skills but wil give anything ago, nothing over $100 is cheap

I'd be spending more and fitting transfer gears as a priority.
Mini spool is a bit more than your price but not a lot.
Loose the extended shackles, your ride and handling will likely improve.
Tune the leaf packs by removing leaves.
