Will Jimny Rims fit a 1995 Vitara?

Yes, and will give a wider wheel track.
Not sure of what tyre size will work but I'm sure the Vit guys will chime in with an answer.

I carried one as a spare for a while when I first got the Vit, but don't remember what the offset was.

Bolt pattern and centre bore are fine.

Tyre wise (without having the offsets to compare) anything up to a 235/75/15 should be relatively painless with the normal aftermarket 30-40mm suspension lift.

I have a set of Jimny rims coming soon but thinking about fitting to my Sierrra now.




I have a set of 15x7 Sunraysia Wheel Pattern RIms fitted to my Vitara with road tyres.

The car has alway had a bit flip flop when driving along and I put it down to tyre height.

When I had the spare on the back of the car it used to wobble/spring on the mount when hitting bumps.

The new rims and muddies I brought has no wobble/spring. (using very technical words here)

The White Sunraysia rims have a larger offset compared to the Ranger ones I just brought.

So I am thinking the Sunraysia rims are the cause of the flip flop.

Will have to see how the Ranger rims drive.

This is for the WT with dimpled circles style. They look the same.

NT sierra with triangles may be different

Does anyone know what the Offset is for the Dynamic Black Steel Wheels?
There website doesn't say.

The Mullins Ranger White Steel Wheels I have are - Offset 10 Pos.

The Dynamic Wheels sit inside the guards compared the Mullins outside.

I am worried the Dynamic Wheels are not the correct/offset for my Vitara.

Define correct?
You're running the Calmini lift, aren't you? What size tyres? Body Lift?

If they are inside the guard, good.
If your tyres don't catch on the guards or firewall as they steer or as the suspension compresses, good.
If your tyres don't rub on the chassis at full lock, good.
If your wheelbearings don't die a horrible death every 5,000km, good.

If none of the above occurs, I'd say that's pretty much as correct as you can get.

If any of the above occurs (except maybe the bearings) there are easy fixes: Flares, guard or firewall chopping/hammering, adjusting steering stops.

If all the above occur you'd want to have a good reason for running the rims - or be able to blame it on the 32" tyres you're trying to stuff under there.

I haven't test fitted the rear, I think on full flex they will scrub the inner body wheel arch as the old MTR's just touched on one side

I *think* you'll be OK then... sounds like they're probably +25 or so. More + offset will help clear the arches with steering, but check the clearance on the chassis:


If it's just a corner of the tyre rubbing on the inner arch at the back you might get lucky, more + offset will bring the tyre closer but reduce the diameter of the tyre swing as it moves up.

Whack 'em on and see how ya go

I just checked my receipt from the tyre shop and it has +10 offset for the rims.

Also have emailed Dynamic to see what the ofset is.

Will have to fit the wheels and try it out next weekend.

No, just got the email back from Dynamic and they said the rims are -12.


Tyre place said NO they are not -12 you have +10.

Everyone ask too much for them and the quality is crap as well.
